Nails of the Day: Lavender and White Crackle
Crackle: China Glaze Crackle Glaze - Lightning Bolt
I was rushing through this because it was starting to get dark in my parent's house and they didn't have power so I needed to finish it! As a result I didn't wait long enough for the base color to dry. Because of that, when I put on the crackle it pulled the base coat with it in a few spots, exposing my nail color. It was only in a few spots and wasn't that noticeable since I had used such a light color, but they aren't kidding when they say crackles need to be applied to completely dry polish.

Nails of the Day: Silver and Pink
Crackle: China Glaze - Broken Hearted
Very simple but I really love the way this manicure turned out! The silver is great because it's pretty much opaque in one coat. The crackle seemed to work especially well over this polish, too. It's glittery but still smooth.

Nails of the day: Glitter!
I’ve been a lover of cream nail polishes forever, but lately I’ve been loving glitter!
I’ve also picked up an excessive amount of new nail polishes in the last few months, so I’ve wanted to try wearing all of them. I decided to do more than one at a time for this one!
The blue is China Glaze – Dorothy Who?
Accent nail is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear – Rockstar Pink
I did three coats of both. Dorothy Who? was pretty good after two but I wanted it a little more intense so I went with three. Rockstar Pink is definitely chunky so you’ll probably want a hefty later of topcoat to smooth it out.

Nails of the Day: Blue and Silver
The blue polish is Revlon Top Speed : Royal
and the silver is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear : Celeb City
The blue looks gradient, but that wasn’t on purpose. I find the Top Speed polishes a bit thick and hard to deal with. I think I’ll try thinning it out next time because the color is really gorgeous. Celeb city is almost opaque with one coat and very easy to work with, so the tips were easy to do.
