Nail Polish Comparison - Yellow-Greens

L-R (in all photos) : China Glaze Electric Pineapple, OPI Did It On 'Em, Sinful Colors Innocent
Once again, none of these are dupes for each other, but they're all very similar. Innocent is more green whereas the others have more yellow to them, and the OPI is a bit more vibrant, although certainly a very similar shade, to the China Glaze.

The Sinful Colors is a bit more opaque in one coat than the other two, but none of them take many coats to get even and opaque coverage. They're all a pretty nice formula to work with as well. I love fun, bright colors like these and would definitely recommend having one of them in your collection! They're great as accent nails or in nail art if you're not sure about wearing an entire manicure with a color like these, too.

Nail Polish Collection - Bottle Photos

I recently took on the project of arranging my polishes by color and swatching them in a small notebook I can easily take with me to ensure new polishes I see in stores are actually unique to my collection, as it's getting to the point where it's easy to have repeats. As a way of cataloging which polishes made which swatch, I took photos of them in the same order I swatched them. I didn't photograph the two Konad polishes or any of my base/topcoats, but this is everything else. As always, click the photos if you want to see them larger, and ask me if you have any more specific questions!

Photos under the jump since there are six of them and I don't want it to load too slowly!

Daily Manicures in November - Week One Photos

Since I acquired a ridiculous amount of nail polishes over the past month or two, I decided I would paint my nails every day during the month of November, specifically in an attempt to try out a lot of colors I haven't used yet. Rather than posting every day, I decided to do a summary at the end of each week. There isn't too much I'll be able to review on any polishes since I'm only wearing each one for a day, so I probably won't say much unless it has a particularly difficult formula or something to that effect.

Nov. 1st: Revlon - Fierce (one coat!! that's all it takes!)
Nov. 2nd: Orly - Green with Envy (a very thin formula - first image is one coat, 2nd has three) with Wet n Wild Cost is No Issue (from the Ice Baby collection) on the accent nail
Nov. 3rd: Sinful Colors - What's Your Name with OPI Turqoise Shatter

Nov. 4th: China Glaze - Poinsettia (from Holiday 2011 collection)

Nov. 5th: Urban Outfitters - Cocktail
Nov. 6th: Sinful Colors - Love nails (this formula isn't thin, just really sheer. one coat on top, two on the bottom)

Sinful Colors Nail Polish Collection & Swatches

Since I heard Sinful Colors nail polishes are going to be on sale at Walgreens again, I decided I'd just do a quick post of all the polishes I have from them to aid in your decision-making this week!
From my experience, the creme finish polishes are the best. The shimmery or glittery ones are much sheerer and a bit more difficult to work with.

Collective Nail Polish Haul & Swatches

Since I've gotten quite a few new nail polishes over the last month or so, I figured I'd just make a collective haul/swatch post. I got the Sinful Colors polishes when they were on sale at Walgreens for $0.99. The three Ulta polishes with the old packaging were on clearance for $2 each and the one with new packaging was the one I chose as my reward this round.

Nails of the Day: Cracked Concrete

Today's manicure used Sinful Colors in Hazard as the base, and China Glaze crackle polish in Cracked Concrete. The orange/coral shade is brighter in real life, more like the top picture than the bottom picture. It's a bit easier to see the difference if you click to enlarge the photo.

I used Orly Top 2 Bottom as the base coat and two coats of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri for the top coat.
