Fall is my favorite season by far. I got so excited when it got cool enough for me to get out the jeans and sweaters and boots I’ve been neglecting the past few months. To further get in the mood (in addition to seriously increasing the quantity of hot tea I’ve been drinking!) I decided to paint my nails a decidedly autumnal color. While I’m all for wearing brights all year, some of the more subdued shades like browns and greys seem a bit out of place in the spring and summer.
China Glaze Ingrid is one of the only brown polishes I have ever thought was attractive. I think it flatters my skin tone and the subtle gold-ish shimmer makes it not such a boring, dull brown.
What’s on your nails currently?
Do you have polishes you only really use during the fall or do you stick with the same type of colors year-round?
I save wine, plum and burgandies for the fall. The seem so out of place other times of year otherwise.
