MAC Quite Cute: Candy Yum Yum Lipstick Swatches and Comparison

After seeing pictures online, I knew I had to have this lipstick! I LOVE hot pink lips, and this was the brightest pink I'd ever seen! I love the texture and the scent of this lipstick; it really feels like it'll last a long time on the lips without being drying.

Candy Yum Yum in the tube

On the lips; applied straight from the tube

For comparison, here are my favorite hot pink lipsticks swatched on my arm.
L-R: Wet n Wild 905D, L'Oreal Endless - Mauve Crystal, Covergirl Lip Perfection - Temptress,  NYX - Louisiana, MAC - Candy Yum Yum

Eyeshadow Haul/Swatches: Dollar Tree

ELF Studio Eyeshadows - Coffee Bean and Charcoal
ELF Studio Eyeshadows: Coffee Bean, Charcoal
Revlon Matte Eyeshadows - Tumpting Teal and Luscious Lime
Revlon Matte Eyeshadows: Tempting Teal, Luscious Lime
Revlon Matte and ELF Studio Eyeshadow Swatches
These shadows were mostly disappointing; I’m definitely glad they were only $1 each. I do like Tempting Teal. I tried several things to get Luscious Lime to show up at all, but nothing really worked. Charcoal just sheers out as soon as I blend it at all. Coffee bean does too, but not as badly. I just don’t love the color of coffee bean. I wish the glitter in both the ELF shades showed up better on the eye; that might make me like it more. It’s beautiful in the pan but much more subtle on.

Nails of the day: Glitter!

China Glaze - Dorothy Who and Sally Hansen - Rockstar Pink

I’ve been a lover of cream nail polishes forever, but lately I’ve been loving glitter!

I’ve also picked up an excessive amount of new nail polishes in the last few months, so I’ve wanted to try wearing all of them. I decided to do more than one at a time for this one!

The blue is China Glaze – Dorothy Who?

Accent nail is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear – Rockstar Pink

I did three coats of both. Dorothy Who? was pretty good after two but I wanted it a little more intense so I went with three. Rockstar Pink is definitely chunky so you’ll probably want a hefty later of topcoat to smooth it out.
